Last Sunday, I went to Asakusa, an area in the east side of Tokyo that is known to be more traditional.
From far we can see the giant lantern at Kaminarimon （Thunder gate), the entrance of the famous Senso-ji temple.
The temple is pretty big different area in it. One of them is the nakamise-dori, a street with many shops for food and souvenirs.
Further ahead, there are also some yatai, (street food kiosk). I had some takoyaki (a kind of octopus snack).
The area is pretty at night for walk or by rickshaw. You can also find one of the oldest amusement park. close to it.
