New staff:　Maja

Hello everyone!
My name is Maja and I`ve been a member of Yadoya staff for a bit more than two weeks. I come from Slovenia, but for the last two years I`ve been living in Berlin, Germany, that I consider to be my second home.
It`s my first time in Japan and so far it`s been a great experience! I came to Japan without particular plan whatsoever, only wish was to learn about the culture I`ve always found interesting and rather than learning about it through books and movies, I decided to come here.
After coming here I was lucky enough to get an internship as a software developer and going to work in the morning with Chuo-Sobu JR line makes me feel like a real Tokyoite in only two weeks. I spend some of my time also helping out in Yadoya Guesthouse, which is my temporary home while in Japan. It a great opportunity to get involved in local community and at the same time save some money.
I find Tokyo in the spring to be really beautiful, especially with cherries blossoming all over the city, I`m really looking forward to Hanami celebrations that are happening in the parks in the next days. And already looking forward to my next visit to Japan, eventhough I have another two months left here.
