Enjoyed Jo’s British dinner party last night, complete with pancakes, bruscietta, sandwiches, and pasta :-D! おいしかったです！
After that, my friend Jack and I went to the ‘Golden Gai’ in Shinjuku with さとしさん, our new friend. I met Satoshi at the Yadoya dinner party and he offered to be our guide to the Gai. We had a great time! Went first to ‘La Jet?e’. This was a small film-themed bar. The owner spoke French and was a fellow film lover.
After that, went to another bar where Satoshi and I discussed politics and the present state of Japan… This was an engaging conversation for me and hope to discuss more with Satoshi さん in the future.
Next, we ran to Shinjuku station to catch the very last train of the night! Phew!
