Tokyo Event in June, 2011!

There are Three Greatest Shinto Festivals in Tokyo! And, one of them will held in this June!


It’s also one of the three greatest festivals in Japan alongside Kyoto Gion Matsuri, and Osaka Tenjin Matsuri.


Here are the three greatest festivals in Tokyo:
1. Kanda Matsuri Festival is held on the weekend closest to May 15.
2. Sanno Matsuri Festival is held on the weekend closest to June 15.
3. Sanja Matsuri Festival is held on the the weekend closest to August 15.

Sanno Matsuri Festival

Date: June 7, June 10 ~ June 17, 2011
Place: Hie Shrine (2-10-5 Nagata-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
Access:
5 min. by walk from subway Chiyoda Line Kokkaigijido-mae Station.
3 min. by walk from subway Ginza/Namboku Line Akasakamitsuke Station.
or 3 min. by walk from subway Ginza/Namboku Line Tameikesanno Station.
