I pretty much ended up in Yadoya the same way I tend to do everything in life, by a lucky chance. I have strong goals and high dreams, but the way I reach them are unknown even to me. 
So while I was looking for a suit, I ended up at a big fleemarket, and before I knew it I had brought a yukata home with me. 
The problem was, I had no clue how to put it on. 
Luckily for me, Alice knows a lot about yukatas and kimonos. So the first thing she taught me was: My yukata was really a kimono. 
As interesting as this is to find out, it doesn't make it any easier to put on. 
Last friday I had my second kimono-class with Alice, and we finished up with me managing to tie my own kimono by myself for the first time. 
I can't wait to get a chance to wear my kimono this spring together with the new friends I've made at Yadoya Guesthouse.
