今回は私のワーホリ体験談をご紹介この1回で説明するのは難しいのでシリーズ化なるのか?!今日は私のワーホリに行ったきっかけや向こうでの生活をちょっとだけご紹介きっかけは、語学勉強もあったのですが勉強が嫌いな私は"留学"じゃなく。海外で学校に通わず"仕事と生活"を楽しんでみたかったのです。それを友達に話したら『それワーホリじゃん』と言われ存在を知らなかったのですが1年後にはバンクーバーにいました。私はずっとカナダのバンクーバーにいました。全く癖のない英語を話す国で勉強するのにとても適している国と聞きましたド初心者の私はカナダにはあまり興味がなかったけどそれだけを理由に行くことに決定当初の私は、DoとDoesとDidの違いやBe動詞と動詞の違いも分かりませんでしたが海外の子達と一緒に住んだりちょっと恋も経験して英語を勉強していきました。仕事は日本食レストラン(しかもキッチンスタッフ)で働いて全く英語は話さなかったのですが、家では韓国人とブラジリアンの子とシェアで住んでいました海外の子とのシェアは大変だけど、同じ年代で恋愛の話や英語を勉強してる身同士、普段の生活でお互い興味のある話は驚くほど英語力を上げてくれました。お勧めですよバンクーバーの生活は日本ではあまり経験できないことばかりでした。想像できます??バスの中には白人、黒人、中東系の人々、アジア人がどうってことなく平然と乗っています。民族衣装着てたり。そしてそれぞれの母国語が飛び交っていました英語、中国語、アラビア語、ポルトガル。。。日本人も多かったのですがとてもおもしろい光景でしたよ移民の町なだけあって、食品も充実。中国系のお店に行けば日本食はちょっとお高めでしたが何でも手に入りましたし、日本の物がいろいろ売ってる日本人向けのショップもありました他にもお店によってはインドの物、中東の食べ物や香辛料が売ってるお店もありました。なのでお互いの国の料理を作りっこもしました大きな町ではないのですが国際色が豊かで本当に色んな国のお友だちが出来ました
