I‘m Vanessa, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Portugal. I arrived to Japan 3 weeks ago (October 10). I want to share to checkout Tokyo. Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara and Ueno.
The first trip that I made was to Shinjuku and it was really cool!
I started by visiting the Gyon National Garden. It has an admission fee of 200 Yen but it was worth it.
It's a very big garden and it's possible to see a lot of japanese tradicional things, as you can see in the photos below.
You should really check it out!!
After Gyon National Garden, i also visited Taisoji Temple, and then, I went to Shibuya.
In Shibuya you can see the famous intersection next to Shibuya Station, the famous Hachiko statue and some delicious food!
For those who don't know Hachiko was an Akita dog, that everyday came to Shibuya station to meet his owner, returning from work. In 1925 the owner died but Hachiko kept going to the station to wait for him until his own death, 10 years later.
